Mark Steven Grove

Mr. Grove began his film career in the late 80’s as a stuntman and actor. Since then, he has served in such prestigious positions as Fight Choreographer, Special FX Supervisor, Firearms Handler, Pyrotechnician and Stunt Coordinator.

Mark made a jump to the Director’s chair on the action/martial arts film Dragon and the Hawk, which premiered in theaters in March of 2000.  In 2005, he directed the action/horror film The Shadow Walkers, which will be released by Lionsgate Home Entertainment on May 22nd, 2007.

Mark has also had an active hand as a producer, getting many films off the ground. In 2004, he served as Executive Producer on the film Backslash, which will be released by Bedford/MTI Home Video on May 8th 2007. In 2005, Mr. Grove co-produced The Sensei which has received great critical praise throughout the industry.

What's left to do? Did I mention that Mark Grove is also an accomplished screenwriter?   He has written a variety of feature films, including; Shadows: The Path of Deception, Rogue Assassin, Tengu: Legacy of the Ninja, and Prime Evil: Spirits of the Fallen.

Currently, Mr. Grove is developing a project called Seven Swords: Cult of the Dead, which is a fantasy adventure in the vein of Dungeons and Dragons. He plans to film the project entirely in the state of Colorado.

His company, Asgard Films will be doing stunt demos, panels, and screening the trailer for their newest film at Horrorfest.
